Operational Workflow

The Operational Workflow of a ZONEDING plant begins with precision material dosing, followed by efficient conveying into the twin-shaft mixer, all synchronized by our automated control system to ensure a consistent, high-quality concrete output.

Bolted Silos

Precision Batching of Raw Aggregates

The process begins in the storage bins, where various sizes of sand and gravel are measured. Utilizing high-precision load cells and a computerized control system, the aggregates are accurately weighed according to the pre-set formula to ensure the structural integrity of the final concrete mix.

concrete belt conveyor

Automated Material Conveying & Charging

Once batched, the aggregates are transported to the mixing platform via a heavy-duty belt conveyor or a skip hoist. This stage is designed for efficiency and minimal material loss, ensuring a steady and synchronized flow of raw materials into the waiting mixer.

Aggregate batching system

Accurate Binder and Fluid Dosing

Simultaneously, cement and fly ash are delivered from silos via screw conveyors, while water and liquid additives are pumped into their respective weighing hoppers. Each component is measured to the milligram to guarantee the chemical consistency and workability of the batch.

Twin-shaft concrete mixer working site

Intensive Homogenization and Mixing

This is the heart of the plant. All weighed materials enter the twin-shaft (or planetary) mixer. The synchronized counter-rotating shafts ensure that the aggregates, binders, and fluids are thoroughly blended into a perfectly homogeneous mixture within a short cycle time.

Concrete mixer truck at construction site

Regulated Discharge & Logistics

After the mixing cycle is complete, the pneumatic discharge gate opens, and the fresh concrete is loaded directly into the transit mixer truck. The entire sequence is monitored in real-time, ensuring that every cubic meter of concrete meets the highest quality standards before leaving the site.

FAQs

  • Q: Stationary or Mobile: which one do I need?
    • A: Stationary plants are best for permanent, high-volume production. Mobile plants are ideal for short-term projects requiring quick setup and frequent relocation.
  • Q: What is the average production speed?
    • A: The standard cycle time is 60–72 seconds per batch, covering charging, mixing, and discharging for maximum efficiency.
  • Q: Can it produce specialized concrete like SCC or RCC?
    • A: Yes. The PLC control system allows for precise recipe adjustments to produce everything from standard wet/dry mixes to high-performance SCC and RCC.
  • Q: How accurate is the weighing system?
    • A: Equipped with high-precision load cells and automated error compensation, the system ensures ingredient accuracy within ±1% to meet strict quality standards.
  • Q: Is the equipment easy to maintain?
    • A: Yes. Our plants feature high-chromium wear-resistant liners and automated lubrication systems to minimize downtime and extend service life.
